Ms. Hinmon's Kindergarten Class
Hamilton E. Holmes Elementary School · 2301 Connally Drive, East Point, GA
"My name is Ms. Hinmon, and I am a kindergarten teacher and grade level chair at Hamilton E. Holmes Elementary School, a Title I school in East Point, Georgia. I am in my fifth year of teaching kindergarten, hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Clark Atlanta University and a Master's Degree in Reading Education from Vanderbilt University, and was named the school's 2025-2026 'Teacher of the Year.'
I teach my students reading, math, science, and social studies, and my goal is a nurturing classroom where every child feels valued, supported, and excited to learn. Kindergarten is my favorite grade because of the growth I get to see, from learning the alphabet to reading and writing fluently."
A second classroom will be added soon.
